PhotoFacial

A PhotoFacial is an excellent skin rejuvenation treatment that can treat a variety of common skin concerns. If you’re interested in improving your skin—think reducing the effects of sun damage, brown spots, rosacea, acne, and aging skin, PhotoFacial treatment may be just what you need! It can be used to treat the face, neck, chest, arms, legs, hands, and back.

What Is a PhotoFacial?

PhotoFacials are treatments that use broadband light (BBL) technology, via a laser, to treat all areas of your skin, without damaging your skin. The light from the laser penetrates through your skin and is absorbed by the broken blood vessels, brown spots, or scars. This light helps to improve your skin’s texture and stimulate new collagen within your skin.

The number of treatments you will need depends on the condition of your skin, but most people will see results after the first treatment.

PhotoFacials are gentle, non-invasive and safe. You may feel a “rubber band snap” on your skin during the procedure, but there is no serious discomfort.

Recovering from Your PhotoFacial

Typically there is no downtime with this treatment, and you may experience mild redness and a sensation similar to a slight sunburn for about 24 hours. You can participate in your regular activities, and wear makeup following your treatment. Make sure to apply sunscreen daily and to gently cleanse your skin daily. Avoid using exfoliants and hot water during your PhotoFacial recovery. It is also important to keep your skin moist during your recovery so make sure to apply a good moisturizer daily.
